"RASHTRAPATI BHAVAN, New Delhi" Children’s day of 2019 is indeed a red-letter day in the Silicon History. School Management has organized a visit to RASHTRAPATI BHAVAN, New Delhi. "Tussauds Wax Musuem - 2019" Disneyland enthused the students and they profusely enjoyed the thrilling rides and special attractions of the Disneyland comprising of amusement Park and Castle.
"Educational Trip - 2019" - Our school organised an educational trip to London and Paris from 1st to 8th October 2019. The students visited the historical monuments that helped them to learn about the history of these places. The highlights of the trip were the visit to Eiffel Tower, Lords Cricket Ground, Madame .
"TEACHERS' DAY CELEBRATION - 2019" - Teacher’s Day was celebrated in the premises of Silicon City Academy of Secondary Education, Konanakunte, Bangalore on 5th of September. The programme was lead off with an invocation to seek the blessings of the Almighty. Students of class X shouldered the responsibility of organizing the entire programme for their beloved teachers. Students gave scintillating dance performances to denote their love, respect, acknowledgment and recognition of the hard work put in by the teachers towards their overall development. They also entertained teachers by arranging fun-filled games for them. Teachers who have completed 7 years of dedicated service in the institution were felicitated on the occasion by the management in the most befitting manner.
"Independence Day Celebration - 2019" - 73rd Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and reverence in the premises of Silicon City Academy of Secondary Education, Konanakunte. Principal Mrs. Sumalini B Swamy welcomed the gathering. Academic Chairman Shri Sameera Simha K.S and Founder Chairman Shri Lakshman graced the occasion. The campus was abuzz with patriotic fervor. The cultural events presented by the students awakened everyone’s feelings towards our motherland. The songs sung by the children and the dances performed by them emanated patriotism in everyone’s heart. Indeed, it was a joy, a day to love and respect our country and make it a better place to live and experience the freedom, peace and unity in diversity.
"Silicon Spectrum 2019" - Silicon Spectrum 2019 - Inter School Science Fest was inaugurated by Shri. R. Umamaheshwaran- Scientific Secretary, ISRO, Founder Chairman- Shri.K.B.Lakshman, Academic Chairman- Dr. K.S.Sameera Simha and Principal – Ms. Sumalini. More than 600 students from 25 schools participated in the Science Fest in various categories such as Science Super Heroes, T-Shirt Designing, Photosynthesis, Logo Designing, Build the Bridge, Mime Show, Power Point Presentation & Science Exhibition. Winners and Runners Rolling Trophies were given along with Merit & Participation certificates. Winners and Runners trophies in all the categories were given. All the participants & Staff members made the Science Fest a roaring grand success.
"Kargil Divas" - On July 26th 2019, students of Silicon City Academy of Secondary Education, gave rich tribute to the Armed Forces of India by celebrating Kargil Victory Day in school and reminded everyone about their sacrifices to restore peace. The NCC cadets took the audience through a presentation to instill sense of respect amongst students for our forces that safeguard the country from external threats. Principal Mrs. Sumalini B Swamy graced the occasion.
"KG Grandparents’ day" Grandparents are the founders of a loving legacy and the up-keepers of traditions. To honour them, Silicon City Academy of Secondary Education celebrated Grandparents’ day on Saturday, 27th July 2019. The programme commenced with the auspicious ‘Lighting of the Lamp’. Grandparents took part in all the activities designed for them with great zeal, vigour and enthusiasm. The programme was presided over by Principal Mrs. Sumalini B Swamy.
"Balajanagraha : A Practical Civic Program" - Silicon City Academy of Secondary Education, Konanakunte, Bangalore -62 had the first ward committee board meeting on 5th July 2019. It was presided over by Mr. Somashekar, the corporator of Anjanapura ward no.196 and various other dignitaries from Police, BWSSB and Health Department of Anjanapura. The agenda for the meeting was public grievances, issues like traffic jam, repair of roads, potholes, garbage collection and segregation of waste. It was an interesting interactive session where in students participated enthusiastically and it created an awareness about civic amenities.
NCC - "Mega Pollution Awareness Pakhwada - National Level" - The NCC cadets of Silicon City Academy of Secondary Education, Konanakunte, Bangalore -62 had events like slogan writing, poster making, cycle rally, painting and seminar as part of Mega Pollution Awareness Pakhwada 2019-20 on 9th July 2019.
Principal Mrs. Sumalini administered the pledge and took through a presentation on air pollution in which she proposed transport pooling to students and created awareness about pollution. Company Havaldar Major Sunder Rajan and Company Havaldar Prakash S P graced the occasion.
INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY - 2019-20 - Silicon City Academy of Secondary Education, Konankunte, Bengaluru South observed International Day of Yoga in the school on 22nd June to raise awareness of the benefits of practising yoga.
The Chief Guest, Dr. K.S. SameeraSimha said “Imparting a bit in one’s lifestyle can bring about tremendous positive change.” Demonstration of yogasanas by the students on ‘Therapeutic Yoga’ was the highlight of the event.
INVESTITURE CEREMONY - 2019-20 - Silicon City Academy of Secondary Education, Konankunte, Bengaluru South held investiture ceremony for the academic year 2019-20 on June 22nd. The Chief Guest, Dr. K.S. SameeraSimha, educationist and academic chairman of the school accompanied by Secretary L.Ravi and Principal Sumalini B Swamy graced the occasion. All the newly selected student members took pledge to devote the best of their ability, knowledge, power, duty and discipline in accordance to the vision and mission of their alma mater.
Environment Day DAY - 2019-20 - Secretary- Mr. L.Ravi & Principal – Ms.Sumalini flagged the beginning of “Environment week” which was observed from the 3rd to 7th June in the premises of SCASE. The year's theme being “Air pollution” students from primary, middle and high school wing brought out the significance of controlling air pollution through songs, speech and a small skit. A creative writing competition was also conducted in this regard.
Silicon City Academy of Secondary Education, Bengaluru South initiated “ Swatch Bharath- Swatch School Campaign” i.e ” Clean & Green School Campaign” by taking Swatchta Shapatha or cleanliness pledge on 15th August 2018.

Silicon City Academy of Secondary Education, Bengaluru South organized Personal Hygiene Day and "Hand Wash Day"on 27.8.18 for primary school students under Behtar India Campaign initiated in the school to create awareness about personal hygiene and importance of hand wash before and after food through videos and activities.

"PRP Training CBSE" - Prospective Resource Person (PRP) Training for Class X Mathematics was conducted on 18th and 19th July in our school in the presence of Dr. Manulal CBSE Observer of COE Kochi. The renowned resource person Dr. Manpreet Singh Johar and Mr S R Padmanaban took over the session.
