Sports is a very important cynosure at Silicon City Academy. The school is proud of all its in-house victors in all sports such as basketball, swimming, football, tennis, badminton and archery. Our dedicated sports faculty also train the children in volleyball, throwball, skating and khokho. We have many topics in the school curriculum that have been explained through outdoor activities or sports.

Sports achievers are given a fee concession and cash awards are given to the national level achievers. Our teachers help these students strike a balance between their sports regimen and their academics by providing them with weekend classes, online notes and doubt clearing sessions whenever the student needs assistance.

“Beyond the Classroom: Learning Through Play and Physical Education
In the ever-evolving landscape of education, we believe that knowledge knows no bounds and learning opportunities can emerge from the most unexpected places. At our institution, we’ve embraced the idea that physical education can be a powerful conduit for imparting academic lessons and life skills.

  1. Integrating Learning and Play: The Power of Physical Education
Imagine learning integers through the exhilarating game of Kho Kho or comprehending the concept of scattered alpha particles through the fast-paced dynamics of soccer. These are just a few examples of how we’ve seamlessly integrated academics with physical activities. Our approach not only engages students but also helps them grasp complex ideas through real-world applications.
  2. A Diverse Spectrum of Sports: More than Just Games
Our curriculum goes beyond traditional sports like swimming, skating, table tennis, volleyball, throw ball, badminton, shooting, cricket, and more. We believe that each sport offers unique lessons in teamwork, strategy, discipline, and perseverance. Whether it’s the precision demanded by shooting or the strategic thinking required in cricket, students not only gain physical prowess but also develop essential life skills.
  3. Indoor Mind Games: Nurturing Intellectual Agility
Indoor activities such as chess, carrom, snooker, and billiards provide a mental workout that enhances critical thinking, concentration, and decision-making abilities. These games are not just recreational; they are cognitive exercises that sharpen young minds.
  4. Youth Programs: Leadership and Citizenship
In our pursuit of holistic education, we also offer programs like NCC, Scouts and Guides, Cubs and Bulbuls. These initiatives instill qualities of leadership, teamwork, and social responsibility, preparing students to become responsible and engaged citizens.
  5. Fostering Well-Rounded Individuals
Beyond the confines of the classroom, our institution strives to nurture well-rounded individuals who are not only academically proficient but also physically fit, intellectually agile, and socially responsible. Through an integrated approach to physical education, we empower our students to excel in every facet of life, equipping them to face the world with confidence and competence.”
